David B. Stein, Ph.D. is a psychologist and professor of criminal justice at Virginia State University. Formerly, he was a professor of psychology for 22 years at Longwood University. Dr. Stein is best known for his work on medication-free treatment of children diagnosed with ADHD. He is the author of several books, among them: Stop Medicating, Start Parenting: Real Solutions for Your Problem Teenager (2004); Unraveling the ADD/ADHD Fiasco (2001); and Ritalin is Not The Answer: A Drug-Free, Practical Program for Children Diagnosed with ADD or ADHD (1999).
